GoStravvy – Privacy Notice for Candidates

At GoStravvy, we believe careers are personal, and so is personal data. This Privacy Notice explains, in simple terms, how we collect, use, store, and protect your information during the recruitment process.

1. Who we are

GoStravvy is a talent search and recruitment firm. We work with professionals to connect them with relevant job opportunities and support organizations in hiring the right talent.

2. What information we collect

We collect only information that is relevant for recruitment, such as:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone number)
  • Your resume or CV
  • Work experience, education, and skills
  • Professional details shared during screening calls (for example, role, experience, CTC, notice period etc.)

We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or any sensitive personal information unless required by law.

3. How we collect your information

We may collect your information when you:

  • Share your profile on LinkedIn or job portals with us
  • Apply for a role through GoStravvy directly or indirectly
  • Share your resume directly with us
  • Speak with us during recruitment or screening conversations

4. How GoStravvy may use your submitted information

We use your information only for recruitment purposes, including:

  • Assessing your suitability for relevant roles
  • Contacting you about job opportunities
  • Coordinating interviews and recruitment processes
  • Sharing your profile with potential employers only after your consent
  • Maintaining a talent pool for future opportunities, if you agree

We do not use your data for marketing or unrelated purposes.

5. Consent and your choice

We respect your choice and control over your data.

  • We seek your explicit consent before sharing your profile with any client
  • You can withdraw your consent at any time
  • If you withdraw consent, we will stop processing your data for future opportunities

6. Who we share your information with

Your information may be shared only with:

  • Prospective employers for specific roles you have agreed to be considered for
  • Authorized GoStravvy team members involved in recruitment
  • Trusted service providers who support recruitment activities, under confidentiality obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

7. How we store and protect your data

We store candidate data on secure cloud-based systems and take reasonable steps to protect it, including:

  • Limited access to authorized team members
  • Secure technology platforms (including Microsoft services)
  • Measures to prevent unauthorized access or misuse

 

8. How long we keep your data

We keep your information only for as long as needed:

  • During active recruitment processes
  • For a limited period (up to 6–12 months) in our talent pool, if you consent

You can request deletion of your data at any time.

You have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you
  • Request correction of incorrect information
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Raise concerns about how your data is handled
